IMPORTANT - VIRUS ALERT - "TAGGED" website?

We recieved an invitation to be a friend of someone we knew using "TAGGED" website. We replied NO that we were NOT interested and somehow our Yahoo Address book was used/stolen as the TAGGED website sent invitations to all our contacts. This was extremely embarrassing and not appropriate.

IMPORTANT - VIRUS ALERT - "TAGGED" website?
Sadly, that is NOT a virus - but a SCAM...

You HAVE to give them your User ID and Password in order to do ANYTHING on that site!!!

The same thing happened to me - and that's probably exactly WHY you got the invite in the first place (it happened to your friend too)...

What Emails Will Be Sent From Me?

Only emails that you trigger yourself, such as friend requests and friend requests reminders, will be sent from your email account. Tagged service announcements, or any other notifications will come from Tagged.com Report It

Reply:Sounds like you freind didn't it happened to them either or have your checked. Smells like a scam to me.
Reply:The site sign up still phishes you, but...you just make a new address for spam...besides, then all those spam messages will get hit with an invitation. ;)

Although, no, the site isn't a virus or anything. I'm sure the creator (Greg Tseng www.tagged.com/greg) probably hasn't updated the registration page recently.
Reply:Thanks for the heads-up.
