Reply:Sorta. If the pictures that were uploaded were to an album that is set to were anyone can view them yes. You won't be able to see the entire album just the pics with your friend tagged in them, but if the album is set to private you won't be able too, not even the pics with your friend in them. Hope this helps.

direct this question to your local DMV before you pay.
Reply:In Cal. ask the DMV for a form

for the previous owners which

certifiy that the auto was

non-operational. They have

probably done that already so

THEY would not have to pay

fees. You must get it smogged

but I don't think you will have

to pay anything for the non-

operating years...just for the

coming year. Who is "they"?
Reply:Depends on the state that you live in. Some states pay a sales tax, or a wheel tax or a registration fee or you have to pay taxes if it was a gift or so forth and so on. You get the idea
Reply:it's call the goverments way of making money
Reply:it's called a no operational fee
Reply:Registration and tags run around 90$ depending on what state you live in. You also have to pay sales tax on the purchase price. They dont care if it doesnt run or not.
Reply:This more than likely is the sales tax, and the fee to transfer the vehicle to you.
Reply:Since the previous owner did not pay the fee for NON-OPERATIONAL status before fees came due, DMV collected those two years of registrations fees plus penalties.

06/07 FEES AND PENALTIES, and 07/08 FEES AND PENALTIES. Plus taxes bases on the sale price. You can always ask the clerk for a FEE SCREEN and it will show a break down of exactly where all the money went to.
Reply:The registration was not paid during that time and you are being charged for that. Even if a car is not running you have to pay fees yearly. You can pay less if you register it non-operational.

My bellcheung@yahoo.com account is corrupted by Tagged.com.?

Tagged.com keeps using my bellcheung@yahoo.com account to send out invitations to everyone from my address book. I don't have an account with Tagged.com and I don't want Tagged.com to use my bellcheung@yahoo.com account to harase people anymore. Is closing the above mentioned account the only way to stop it? Do I have any other options? Please help!

My bellcheung@yahoo.com account is corrupted by Tagged.com.?
Try contacting Yahoo and see if they can help. I would scan the comp for viruses and spyeware, but do it in safe mode
Reply:It would be a good thing. While they may not have passwords etc. It will distance you from a bad rep. Yahoo! need to know this too or you might not like it if they wonder if you're a Soprano.

If you get angry replies like that it's a good thing to change or replace the account.

One thing I can tell you that IS A NO-NO:

You just gave your account name out in a public forum for NO GOOD REASON. NEVER do that, and mask it by the old "rebus" trick if you really need to, change parts to misspelled or at for @, make a simple riddle that computers have a harder time gaining a harvested address from.

Have you contacted the website and expressed your disapproval? Many sites of this type state they will comply with a complaint but OF COURSE they are INSULT SITES and that's their bacon.

Consult your state's Attorney General's office or website for cybercrime tips and view the headers if you can get them from a victim to find the IP address and any ISP abuse contact addresses.

How do I get my heating system red tagged by the gas company?

How do I get my heating system red tagged by the gas company?

I have a 30+ year old heating / cooling system at my tiny little condo and I have a home warranty program. I was told by a heating guy that the best way to get my home warranty people to upgrade my system / replace it is to call the gas company and have them do an inspection. Then, if the gas company determines that it’s unsafe and red tags it I’d be able to call my home warranty company and then would replace it. They would replace it because it’s no longer repairable and as the heating guy said no one wants to argue with the gas company. What can I do to insure that if I have a gas company guy inspect my system that he would red tag it? I obviously want to do it safely as well. I don’t want to blow my place up trying to get a new system out of the deal. Thx.

How do I get my heating system red tagged by the gas company?
thats fraud. Just replace it yourself, but you sound pretty cheap, so I don't think your going to do that. By the way, home warranty companies will send out a contractor for second opinion. I have worked for many warranty companies, they don't just spend money that quickly. And if they do it,it will not be a very inexpensive system that is installed. Good luck though with that.
Reply:you have a 99% chance of it getting red tagged if it is 30 years old SIMPLY because it IS 30 years old. call them and say hay my heater is kinda old will yall inspect it? they always try and get the customer to upgrade. try it and see. On the day I BOUGHT my house we had the gas turned on and guess what? the water heater and furnace was red tagged . you know why? because I didn't have the newer double wall chimey pipe that is now required. Do you think you have it on your 30 year old system? Be sure to be there when the guy shows up. Let him do his thing.
Reply:How do you get a home warranty on a 30+ year old home? everything in there is old!

..for the heating system if the gas company comes out, it is their responsibility %26amp; liability to be honest to the best of their ability. Not all gas company inspectors are familiar with all appliances. Make sure it's not just some inexperienced hack coming out. Also they can't lie %26amp; red tag it just cause you want them too. If your warranty provider decides to get a second opinion, the gas company could be liable if the findings are different. Since it's their money they will want to do whatever they can to NOT spend it. But sabotage or purposely damaging your existing system could make you liable.

Why not call your warranty provider and ask them what requirements are needed for replacement, instead of trying to be sneaky?
Reply:The gas company frequently does inspections for free, as a service to their customers. You might not want to mention that you WANT a red-flag, since that could be considered fraud.

Ask the gas provider for a fall check-up. They will come out with lots of flyers and phamphlets talking about changing filters, programmable thermostats, etc.

At worst, you don't get a red-flag, and you stick with the one you have. You don't need to report the inspection to the warranty company, unless you choose to.
Reply:What you are looking for can only be taken care of by a heating/cooling contractor who has the tools to check the whole system. The gas company does and will only do just alittle to insure the system is working or not. To get the system red tagged like you are looking for needs more documention as to the problems found in order for you to give to your home warranty company.
Reply:You can not "insure...that he would red tag it". That being said, I would be surprised if a 30 year old gas furnace is not leaking carbon monoxide from a cracked firebox. That is not normally repairable and WILL be red-tagged if it is found. In any case, the inspection is provided free by our gas supplier and probably would be free for you too.

What is tagged? is it safe?
Probably a phishing email to install spyware/malware on your computer. Delete without opening and then run your anti-virus scanner and adware scanner just to be safe...

What is Tagged :)?

I keep getting emails from Yahoo with other peoples details saying they want to be friends on Tagged :). I've never heard of it. Is it a scam......

What is Tagged :)?
just another online social networking tool. if you are interested in that sort of thing be warned of "friends" who are in fact just promoting something (a product, music, et cetera).

Tagged calls itself an "Online community where users can share photos, keep journals, discover friends, and more."
Reply:Probably...but may just lure you back to Youtube or the Digg, etc ...where you cannot find the comment/friend/angry commenter.Usually the "friends" are porn or product promoters.
Reply:it's basically a chat room.
Reply:It's a website like myspace and facebook where you can talk to your friends etc. but I don't think it's that good.
Reply:it's not a scam it's like facebook but it's **** though
